PagePal AI – LLM Reading Tutor

Developing a full-stack AI-powered web application that helps users learn Spanish by reading books enriched with real-time GPT-based explanations.
Designed the backend using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker to handle book ingestion, chunking, vector embedding, and LLM-based explanations.
Created a React frontend that allows users to select books, view chunks of text, and receive contextual AI explanations for highlighted passages.

Planned Features:
Integrate pgvector to support semantic search over book chunks, enabling more relevant and fluent explanations.
Implement caching layer to reduce redundant LLM calls and improve performance.

Exploring Password Complexity

Performed a comprehensive analysis of password complexity using Dropbox's zxcvbn algorithm and supervised and unsupervised learning methods to fulfil the senior project requirement at Yale.
Engineered seven key features using Python to capture underlying patterns in 700,000 randomly selected passwords from the 2015 000webhost data breach.
